The loremipsum font is the result of many desperate attempts to reduce the time spent in accounting, this font especially was designed only as a handwriting substitute for various digital documents. The font was created in the first phase for desktop notes, invoices, signatures and such, of course, with a development that took way more than all the documents written by hand.
Other font from this period created for the same purpose, but experimenting with different markers is the Lipsum font that at some extent can be considered the light version of this font. In theory only, because the fonts were created separately, so the Lipsum characters won’t align perfectly to the loremipsum font and the combination of the two fonts requires some adjustments.
