Marker is a handwriting font drawn with a worn-out marker, made in the series of the early experiments that involved any tool that’s been lying around. The letters were specifically written in small sizes to create a Heavy and Bold design, most of the time ignoring white spaces in the character constructions.
The details were reduced to a minimum, the font relies mostly on “hints” of design and offers the best visibility on small sizes.
In spite of the fact that this font has a very robust and chunky construction, thanks to its simple lines the font works well in long paragraphs, being easy to follow in a complex context. The font was used intensively in personal projects as sub notes and body copy and it proved to be a resourceful font for design inspirations when it comes to iconography and identity works.
