Rubber

Rubber is a collection of various identity proposals using custom letters, redesigned to form a single style across all its characters. When the number of logos reached a few, it only became logical to turn these into a font, making future attempts easier and providing another few graphic experiments in the making.

Characters taken separately may have a contemporary look – at least the time the font was made this was “the thing” – but used together the font style is more into a retro look that’s a strong reminder of the eighties neon and disco designs.

The font serves its purpose in short texts, the best in a single character actually, and it has a very short span of applications.

Trial fonts on loremipsum.ro are provided without a license, in TTF format only. The trial version includes all characters and font features, and should not represent a limitation for testing;
For copyright reasons trial fonts have embedding restrictions and may not always act as expected. Compatibility issues with softwares doesn’t necessarily reflects the way copyright free fonts work.
The font author shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that result from the use of trial fonts.

Permissions

The fonts are free for nonprofit projects and organizations. Causes for human or animal rights, charity projects can use the fonts at their convenience;
The fonts can be used free of charge in any cultural, educational or social event that is not promotional and provides a free access;
Personal portfolio works can include the fonts for free as long as the purpose of self-promotion is not to gain commercial benefits.

Restrictions

Embedding fonts in free projects is not allowed.
The free use is limited to images or outlined vectors;
Converting or modifying trial fonts, including the terms in the download package is forbidden. A font share must respect the original structure of the download.

loremipsum.ro has no access to sensitive payment information and doesn’t track, collect or share user data with cookies, analytics or other tools. To clear any concerns read the General Terms below.

Payment

Once the font selection is completed on loremipsum.ro, the user is redirected to PayPal for checkout. The payment is handled and secured exclusively by PayPal;
The PayPal account is optional. Cards accepted by PayPal are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club and EnRoute.
After the transaction no further action is required from the buyer.

Documents

Both parties receive a payment notification that stands for the license document;
An invoice / receipt is issued with the info provided by PayPal.
Additional infos or documents are included on request;
Hard copies and verbose agreements are not preferred.

Delivery

The delivery is personal, done exclusively via email;
The attachment includes the invoice / receipt and the copyright free fonts in 6 formats: OTF, TTF, EOT, SVG, WOFF and WOFF2;
The delivery is not instant, a delay may occur due to time zone differences (local time UTC+02:00), and depends on how fast is the payment processed.

Refund

The Website is developed to display as accurately as possible the features and properties of each available font. However, there is no guarantee that the specifications will be accurate or free of errors on different devices or used in other conditions. Because of that, prior to making any purchase, a font should be tested in every available media and conditions, to make sure that this will meet every technical requirements and stylistic expectations.
The refund is possible if the copyright free fonts were not delivered yet to the buyer's address. Otherwise, the license purchase is final and non refundable.
Exceptionally, in case a font has obvious errors that were overlooked, without the possibility of repair, the refund is made with the same method of payment.
